Ashwini Kalsekar is a celebrated Kathak artist in London, renowned for her expression, grace & footwork and her choreographies for their concepts and vibrancy. Her mother and guru, Rekha Nadgauda is a renowned dancer, and leading disciple of Pt Gopi Krishna, doyen of the Benares Gharana. Later Ashwini was groomed by Pandita Shama Bhate famed for her extensive knowledge and choreographic works. With a Masters degree in Kathak; Ashwini is shaping a new generation of Kathak artists in the UK.
