Prathap Ramachandra is an Internationally acclaimed South Indian percussionist in London, who has performed in some of the biggest festivals around the globe. He specialises in playing Mridangam, Ghatam and Khanjira. He has accompanied many world-renowned artists from India and abroad. His cross-cultural collaborations in music and dance have allowed him to craft compelling approaches to Indian rhythms. He has mastery in Konnakol – speaking syllables while counting the Tala (meter) with the hand.
