Board

Pandit Ram Sahai Sangit Vidyalaya (PRSSV) was founded in 1965 in Benares by Pt. Sharda Sahai and supported by a group of professional and amateur musicians, businessmen, government electives and music lovers who were committed to the vision to enable anyone to learn music & dance irrespective of their background and means.

These values and traditions continued when in 1987 Pt. Sharda Sahai and Dr. Frances Shepherd co-founded PRSSV in the UK as a registered charity.

Our current board is made up of people with a track record of working to enrich the lives of people through the performing arts, either directly as teachers and performers and educators, or through their support for artists and organisations that do.
