Living Traditions

This project highlighted the heritage and UK practice of two distinct vocal music styles of India: Hindustani of North India and Carnatic of South India.

With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund it offered unique opportunities to students, practitioners and listeners of both traditions to participate in a range of activities.

Special thanks to, The V&A, Horniman Museum, SOAS, Laurent Delaye Gallery and Harrow Music Service.
